The selection process for fellowship is very rigorous, and I am very proud to have received that honor.” According to Dr. Willson, implants are one of the most effective methods of replacing teeth. They restore self confidence and quality of life to many patients. “Implants are basically substitutes for natural tooth roots,” Dr. Willson stated. “They can replace individual missing teeth in situations where a standard bridge would not work well, and they are especially good for patients who cannot wear full dentures because of gagging or severe bone loss. Modern implants have excellent success rates, and can often mean the difference between a patient having teeth and the patient going without anything.”
